They're located in the Allentown district of Buffalo, NY where they specialize in authentic barbecue and ice-cold beer.Locals consider this to be the toughest race, but I am not sure whether that is because of the terrain or the usual weather conditions. What to expect? - Well for one thing, very very cold winds! The last I heared, there was a chance of some snow, with temperatures ranging between 4 and -2 (that's Fahrenheit, not Celsius). The toughest race? Well, it will take a tough soul to compete in this one. From all the years of covering this race, the age of runners varies for the young to retirees. Last year I saw a lot of runners in the 50-something range. Each year I'm surprised at how many come out to brave the frigid temps and run with a smile. This is more of a survival race than a winter jog, but as of today Race Director Jeff Tracy said they have close to 200 registered. Check Out the
Nearly everything on the menu is created from scratch, right down to the blue cheese that comes with their jumbo chicken wings. They have a wide selection of beer that features an always changing menu of microbrews from New York and around the United States, even imports.
